This is Phil who was my best friend all through my school days. We met up yesterday after 40 years and it was as if it was just yesterday when we were together. We have kept in touch birthdays and Christmas over the years but she lived in Lichfield and I lived in Surrey and we just did not get together. We both felt quite sad that we had been together through our young years but not when we were going through some of the very happy and very sad times in our lives. How careless we are sometimes with our friendships. They really should be treasured!!
