I thought I was seeing things when I looked at the clematis climbing up my shed. It had a beautiful display of flowers earlier in the year and now the leaves have all died back. But there in the middle of the dead leaves was this gorgeous flower. A last flush of colour before autumn sets in. We are having a very unusual warm few days and I think the plants are getting confused!!
