I discovered if I hold the camera close to the object the macro sign comes on. I quickly went into the garden and tried it out on some flowers. This tiny viola (or is it a tiny pansy?) looks great. For hand held and no fussing about changing lenses I am quite pleased.
Great photo. I don't know if the FZ330 works the same as the 200 and 1000 but with ours if you set MACRO you can also use the zoom (with very fine adjustment)) which is quite effective.
