We were able to get into our holiday cottage at 1.30 pm which is early as you are supposed to arrive by 3pm. We have been going to this lovely house for so long now the owner doesn't mind us arriving early as we can get in as soon as the cleaners have finished.
We unpacked the car and then collapsed on our deckchairs in the garden as it was so lovely and warm. So wonderful sitting in a sheltered spot with this view across the garden to the River and across to Appledore.
The great news was that I connected straight away to the WiFi in the house!! Whooppeeee!! Surprising how much we miss broadband when its unavailable!!
@happypat Yes we try to get down here at least two times a year as my niece lives in Clovelly which is just along the coast. We will be back in July for a two week stay which I am looking forward to. its a long drive for just a few days. No we were in Derbyshire when we had to take George home after eating sheep/deer poo at Chatsworth!! I have brought all the leftover medicine I have for them with me just incase!! LOL!!
