I slept in but my husband woke up to start the coffee and breakfast. He loves cooking at camp. Which works well because the fresh air and exercise and five teenagers meant a lot of food being consumed.
i admire you for this. i'd never go camping, not my cup of tea. i like running water at the ready for anything. but i admire people who do this and enjoy it. i used to get a lot of invites to go camping and after a long time, my friends and acquaintances now know better than to ask me. even an invite to the cottage would merit a lot of questions from me. :-) but this is a very nice shot, the perspective is most engaging.
"A room with a view!" How beautiful this is ... who wouldn't enjoy this. So nice that hubby loves to cook outdoors. Most men do .. why is that, I wonder. But it gives you a chance to relax and enjoy the surroundings and the kids.
I'm not good at tent camping, but my husband being the purist that he is refused to get a pop-up trailer- no frills mind you- all I wanted was a bed off the ground. Oh well- at least we love taking day hikes! How wonderful that your husband cooks on the camp out!!
