My new camera is still a point and shoot, but being five years newer than my panasonic it has a lot more features I'll probably never learn. This one made me feel like it was built for everything, the feature is, night shot of people with a bright scene behind them,
This is my nephew and I as we were camping up at "Howard Prairie Lake"
Nebraska? As in the University of?? My folks live in Lincoln and I have many cousins who graduated from UN. This is a good picture - at night, with the lantern and yet your faces are perfectly lit. Nice!
@hoosierhokie@gnilrets Nope not really Nebraska at all, my oldest son we adopted at fourteen hours old and his birth mom was living in Lincoln Nebraska when we sent him to visit her for his seventeenth birthday. I grew up in Wyoming
Love your candid .... enjoy that camera, Dixie!! Love those beautiful smiles! You'll learn those setting pretty quickly. Mine has so many settings and I usually shoot in just aperture or shutter. So all of the others are just "unused!"
@ladydi53 Too strange because my one security object as a child was a stuffed toy chimpanzee that I carried everywhere and named Judy after the chimp in the tv show Daktari
Great shot! You'll get the hang of it- just give yourself time! My little point and shoot has a good amount of options too- but I often leave it set on manual! I love your smile!
