“The one red leaf, the last of its clan, / That dances as often as dance it can, / Hanging so light, and hanging so high, / On the topmost twig that looks up at the sky.”
Samuel Taylor Coleridge
I am easily entertained in summer when I don't have to make a million decisions a minute regarding 40 kids at a time. I emptied the maple syrup so filled the bottle with veggie oil, water and food coloring and shook it and placed it in the sun.
I love this one, Dixie! Before I read your comments I never thought this was once a bottle of maple syrup, but I guess with the leaf pattern it would be obvious. However your creativity disguised it so well. Beautiful display against the screen with the sunlight streaming through. Love the poem that goes with it.
Beautiful shot and I love the poem. I had bought syrup in a bottle like that in Canada several years ago. I always thought it was a very pretty bottle.
Beautiful lighting coming through there and creates the perfect enviroment for this beauty. Love the colors and the shape of the bottle. Some of these objects are just too beautiful to throw away, I think. Love that blue tone too .... lotion or soap? Anyway I've enjoyed Coleridge since college .. a great poet and writer. Interesting character too.
