In the early days I had a very black-and-white view of everything.
Cat Stevens
Black and white is different than shades of grey somehow and I think I am a lot less judgmental than in my youth too.
The pictures are ones I did not take all of, in fact only the picture of Keiko the whale from "free Willie" and of my son up to his neck in sand and of the sketch I did of my stuffed toys.
The upper left is my great grandma Emma and I, but down between the whale and the toys is her wedding picture. Nearly 80 years between the two as she was 17 at her wedding and 98 when I was 10 and she died.
the three together in the center, my Mother-in-law as a child, my Dad as a baby and my Mom
top right, me and my husband at 19, top center, me in yellowstone and a flower that looks angelic.
Warning: I now have a list of seven more color kinds of collages of another week of thumbnails. Sepia, pastel, monochromatic. Well you'll see and you may be sorry that some of you encouraged me to keep going.
won't be sorry at all. i'm enjoying them a lot. and it's a good way to showcase your other photos that would have otherwise not been seen. so, keep going.
@summerfield I really had a hard choice today. My son totaled his car yesterday as he pulled into the parking lot at work and collided with another car. Everyone is ok but dramatic picture would ruin my thumbnails here. Showcasing older ones is sidelining new ones. Oh the dilemna!
Super collage, Dixie ...love all of them. Especially family photos ... your grandmother, husband, children. The essence of life. All in in one collage! Perfect in b&w. Hoping the your son is fine ... and you too, Mom.
