Reflecting on "I Love You"

The sign language symbol for "I Love You"

I love you when you bow in your mosque, kneel in your temple, pray in your church. For you and I are sons of one religion, and it is the spirit.
Khalil Gibran

If I love you, what business is it of yours?
Johann Wolfgang von Goethe

To say "I love you" one must first be able to say the "I."
Ayn Rand

The above quotes are ones that I Love, because love, to me has unlimited potential. Once you start there is always more there so you can love yourself and someone whether they approve or not, you can lot strangers as well as friends. It is n amazing energy that actually creates more as it is given away. Gosh, I sound corny, but It's what always happen when I'm a fan of something, Love, Harry Potter, redwoods, and (blushing) Totally a Trekkie
This is fabulous, Dixie

Love the photo .... it shows the strength and the power of language. Even "sign" language! I like what Goethe had to say .... it makes me smile.

Great shot! I can never get the angles right on these type of pics. I assume we'll get a Vulcan greeting gesture pic tomorrow? (Trekkie here too, if you can't guess!)

cool, dixie. is that a gas lamp i see?

@summerfield yeah. one thing about having redwoods and rain around you, is tree sized banshees come down and take out power lines quite often, so kerosene lamps and candles are great, a wood stove for heat and emergency cooking and bottled water on hand for if the well pump won't run.
