I think if you look at Priscilla Slack Miller at 21 and me at 19, on the last picture, you can see that we are related. My Mom and Dad (Paul Miller) three years before they were parents. The funny/sad thing is that I never saw my Dad look anything like this, until he was dead and in his casket. The cancer had thinned his face again and the pinched pain look had relaxed away and he look young and happy. Still this was their engagement photo and they still ha 37 loving, and mostly happy years ahead of them when it was taken,
@sophiaz Thank you. While i was posting this, I was talking to my Mom in Virginia, 3,000 miles away in a nursing home with detention, but today, she knew me and the conversation was good
It's so interesting to see our parents apart form "being our parents"- their stories are intriguing because we're not in it yet! Haha- that's what I think anyway. Great shot and so glad to hear you had a good talk with your mom recently. It will help on the days when she doesn't remember.
