And my husband's birthday fell on the same day this week, but so did my son's father-in-laws birthday so we compromised and did our thanksgiving a day early so they could travel to her family tomorrow
Our family had to do that now too. It's what happens when the kids grow up and do their own thing. Today is special for us too....... 50 years ago today -- also the day before Thanksgiving -- we brought our first child, our newly adopted sweet, tiny, little brand new infant son home. Today he is still sweet, not longer tiny or little, but a wonderful man, husband, dad, and grandfather! Love him so much.... and 50 years ago still seems like yesterday.
Looks like a nice Thanksgiving was had by all. I'm not that lucky to have my husbands birthday fall once in awhile on a holiday. He was born on Christmas day. And he did get cheated as a child growing up.
