Mom got this 1950’s era monkey to sit on her college dorm bed but as a toddler who loved Daktari she quickly became renamed as the chimp from the TV show. She went with me everywhere and many nights my Dad patiently retraced my steps until she was located in the porch milk box (remember those?) or in the way back of the station wagon.
Daktari! One of the joys of my childhood TV watching - oh this made me smile this morning, thank you. Loved Judy the Chimp and loved Clarence the wonderful cross-eyed lion!
