An old first grade classmate found this picture in a museum collection and sent me the link. It was my grandpa and his nephew in 1949. But it was funny in a way, because that nephew got married in 1959, and yet his brother still warned me that his wife probably shouldn’t see this due to the other woman in the picture.
Hmmm- that sounds mysterious. Why not show a picture which was 10 years prior to his marriage? Ten years- I wonder why that was not enough space? Great historical shot though!
