Seven years ago today I was excited, we were strolling downtown San Francisco on our way to take my son and his lovely girlfriend to begin college in Santa Cruz. There were a million plans stretching in front of those two, and almost none of them happened. Six years ago on the 22, as we were packing to go to their second year, they discovered they were expecting an unexpected baby, they never went to college another day, and they only stayed together until just before that baby turned one, but being a single Dad with sole custody has been more blessing for my son and for my husband and I than we could have ever foreseen. I’m pretty sure it surprises no one here if I say I can no longer imagine a day without Daisy.
Daisy truely is a blessing! Your love for each other pours out of your photos of her! You are both lucky to have each other. Your son is a very lucky man. Wonderful how unexpected life can be sometimes!
