Tour saint Jacques

The Tour Saint Jacques, built between 1509 and 1523, is the remnant of St Jacques de la Boucherie (butcher Church?). It looks 'as new' since 2009 after a long restoration. Before it was very dark and black and I remember when I was little girl, it always scared me!
What a beautiful church I would love to see the stained glass windows from the other side, The masonry work is amazing

Really neat building! It looks like they did a great job with the restoration, but I can see how it would have been a bit scary (especially the gargoyles)!
