Even if the Galeries Lafayette and the Printemps are close to each other, the view is similar but not the same. I may prefer the Printemps' view but I don't really like the terrace with a "cheap" restaurant.

Wonderful building. I can't believe that we didn't actually take a shot of it from the Galleries Lafayette when we were there. I think perhaps we had seen so much opulence it was one too many.... but how can that be?!
@parisouailleurs We were only there for a too-short time this Easter, hope to return next year. Didn't know about the terrace at Printemps. Went into the Galleries Lafayette, thinking the restaurant was under the dome... clearly got the wrong store! (The last time I had been was about 20 years earlier so I forgive my bad memory!) Really tempted to come back in a week or two but the train fares are expensive last-minute, so I will rely that Paris will still be there in Spring! :)
