A quick post, following our camping trip up amongst the fells of the Lake District. A beautiful area, but always a bit of a gamble with the weather.
This is a view looking down on Side Pike (in the centre of the pic), one of the smaller fells in the area. In the distance can be seen the Langdale Pikes on the right, and the Oxendale and Mickleden valleys split by 'The Band'.
Most importantly the little white building sat in the bottom of the valley is the 'Old Dungeon Ghyll Hotel', the perfect spot for a much needed pint at the end of the day.
I have just fallen in love... could you post the details about the shot? I mean, is it an HDR? Wich camera? Editing tool and process? I love the result!
Really great photo!
