Well, 365 days are done for 2017, and to finish the year off in style (and to celebrate my birthday) we’re eating this guy...
I’ve never had lobster before, and neither I nor my wife could bring ourselves to dispatch one ourselves, so we bought tails instead. I cannot believe how stunning they are both mechanically and visually - felt the need to photograph this beauty. Apologies to anyone who now thinks I’m a barbarian, but I’m hoping it tastes as good as it looks!
I stareted out on my photographic journey just using a camera phone, mostly to irritate my mate Kev, who’s a Canon snob - it’s delightfully fitting that I’m ending the year using a clip on macro lens that fell out of a Christmas cracker for this close up!
Happy New Year one and all - thanks for following and for so many supportive and encouraging comments. I hope 2018 brings you further enjoyment and fulfilment, and that you heed the great Ansel Adams quote:
“12 significant photographs in any one year is a good crop”
