Splash of pink

The day was dull and gloomy on the canal today so I was pleased to come across this patch of pink algae to put a bit of colour in my shot.

A lovely towpath and canal scene. It reminds me of one of my favourite walks on the Lancaster canal in a cutting with trees overhanging, which looked beautiful in autumn. Fav!
