Dung beetle by pattyblue

Dung beetle

We came across an area with quite of few of these dung beetles.
On checking them out I was sad to discover that they are on the decline due to pesticides and antibiotics used by farmers for their cattle as the beetles live off cow dung.
I hope these little fellas make it.
Cheering the lovely fella on with you

An impressive shot of this little chap. It's quite frightening to think of the damage that mankind has done to nature.

Cute close-up. Sorry for the story. We used to see many ladybirds but I haven't seen one for a long time.
