Another Tree

I went off the beaten track on my dog walk this morning looking for something different. I liked the way this tree appears to be stretching its branches to the left. I didn't have my camera with me so, after a little debating once I'd arrived home, I grabbed my gear and headed back to the woods. I wasn't sure how much of the tree I'd be able to get into my shot as the area from the angle I wanted to shoot was quite cramped. I'm still amazed just how much of the image I can get into the frame using my 10-18mm wide angle. This is another five bracketed shot merged in lightroom.
Wonderful capture of the tree, and I love the processing, too.

Love the way the tree seems to be blown to the left. The processing is great. Really like the blues and yellows. Fav

Looks so mysterious and haunting - this could be the cover of a book. Perfect in B&W.

It would seem an ordinary tree, And your shot makes you think about stories, Which can occur here ....

@lizhammond can you please explain to me the meaning of "better in black" and an extra click to see it in black? I' m a total beginner!

@caterina so funny, you remind me of me a little over a year ago! So... when you look at the photo on your browser it has a white background, but some photos look better with a black background. Click on the photo itself and it will pop up with a black background.... hence the worth the extra click. You will see better on black comments (like mine) sometimes. Will look forward to hearing if you think it looks better on black :-) welcome to 365.
