Lincoln Cathedral by paul10

Lincoln Cathedral

I took this last year on a walk around Lincoln Cathedral while Helen attended an Open University lecture. I didn't have a wide angle lens at the time so I took four shots and stitched them together in Lightroom 6. I'd forgotten I'd taken the shot until I went looking through my 365 catalogue yesterday evening. It really is a beautiful building with so many stunning individual pieces of detail. I liked this view with Tennyson and his dog in the foreground :)
Wow, what a beautiful looking place. Excellent shot.

What a fine " seamstress " you are!
I pass this building most days, it's only when you read people's comments about how lovely it is, that you realise we take it for granted, it's just there! Lovely captures !

It is a magnificent cathedral. We lived in Lincolnshire many many years ago during our RAF days.

Beautiful shot with just the right amount of contrast to give the building depth. Got to be one of our most picturesque cathedrals.
