The Land of the Dead Trees! by paul10

The Land of the Dead Trees!

Taken on my 10-18mm wide angle lens using my new Hoya 10stop filter. This was my first go using this filter and, after those horrible Amazon filters I was using (they left my images with a strange yellowy/greeny tint, and looking soft and fuzzy) I'm very pleased with the results. Can't wait to give it a proper test on a better landscape and seascapes :) Still not back up to full speed with my project but I'm getting there :)
Beautiful colors and lighting.

Beautiful tones in the water, I'm a sucker for dead trees but so many together look rather spooky!

So strange seeing all the dead trees - but a beautiful photo opportunity with that sky and blue water . Such a beautiful cleat and focused image !

Love the softness of the water compared with the focus on the trees, etc.

Love the smooth water and colours. Your new filter is working well. I bought some cheap ones from Aliexpress - they are truly terrible!

The blues and the yellows contrast so well. The old adage always runs true: buy cheap, buy dear.

Great contrast of smooth against the wood. Lovely on black. I got a filter recently too - can't wait to give it a real outing.
