Old Barn

I headed up to Tealby this morning after weather forecasts on the BBC app had promised mist on higher ground all week. By this morning (Sunday - I'm a day behind) no mist was forecast but breaking clouds were. So, I thought to myself, a sunrise shot of a lone tree I'd photographed last year. Of course, as you can see by the sky in this image, the sunrise didn't happen either. All I got was more bland boring skies. But when all else fails, and there's an old abandoned farm to look around, you can always go with b&w. So I did :) I did have a lovely morning up there too. Had the place all to myself. Well, me, a fox and a little white owl :) Maybe looks good on black ;)
Can't go wrong with a bit of dereliction and a barn owl for company whatever the weather!! Glad your morning wasn't wasted!

Love this Paul. The b&w really emphasises the detail in the stonework and the different textures.

This looks wonderful on black! What a great mini adventure having this place to yourself along side a few animals! Perfect in B&W. Such a great old rock barn. We don't have rock barns here. Fav.

A bit of a renovator's dream at the moment, but I can see it would look delightful if it was restored.
