Another stranger in my Friday people challenge
Pam was one of the dancers in a 1940's swing dance group demonstrating the dances of the 1940's i.e. Jitterbug, Jive, Swing and one called the Boogie-woogie !!!, I asked to take her photograph between dances said agreed only if I would remove her wrinkles in Photoshop, I told her not a chance they are laughter lines and she looked lovely with them.
@miata2u Thank you for your lovely comments Peggy, Pam told me she had adapted a modern hat to look like a 1940's style and had knitted the jumper to suit the period, must say all the ladies did look elegant in their 40's outfits:)
@quietpurplehaze Thank you very much Hazel, brave or foul hardy not only my comment on the wrinkles but also I asked Pam not to look at the camera and just give me a hint of a smile, as you see I got away with it, lol:)
I took a photo in my strangers project & when I started to find some info on my 'victim' he told me he was a photography teacher - one of the tips he then gave me was to have the subject look slightly to one side, not face on for the shot.
@quietpurplehaze Thank you very much for the fav, I was always told to pose subjects the way that suits the persons features or personality, just didn't have a clue what that meant until now:)
@onewing Thanks for your lovely comments Babs, she was reluctant to give out her email address to a stranger like me !!!, but I have managed to send her a copy through the dance group had no response from that yet:)
@teiko Thank you for your comment and Fav, Emilie they are appreciated, all the ladies seemed to enjoy dressing up and the attention they received from the public at the 1940's event:)
@quietpurplehaze Thanks for that Hazel does not happen very often, saw a wedding party getting ready to go into the church asked if I could take a couple of portraits will post one Friday:)
@dawnee Thank you for your comment and Fav they are both appreciated, she never seemed to take many breaks as the music played almost non stop all day well actually two days:)
@simta Благодарим Вас за Вас комментарии Татьяна, шляпа была современной одна, что дама была изменить себя, чтобы сделать его выглядеть правильно за период девятнадцати сороковых :)

One aspect of 365 which I love is the continuous learning curve.
