This is a tiny Sawfly Larva Caterpillar eating its way through a leaf in my garden.
Quite a little jewel larva caterpillar - well captured!

@quietpurplehaze Well thank you Hazel looks like I got it wrong again, so its a Peacock Jewel Larva Caterpillar, every days a school day thanks for putting me right:)

Oh I meant it's a jewel of a larva caterpillar because it's so cute and 'bijou'. I'm sure you're right about its name - I know nothing about caterpillars Peter!!! Sorry for confusion.....

Amazing clarity and focus on this one Peter. Looks like I've got to stop watching Gertrude and start looking for caterpillars. :)

He has lovely markings. Hope he doesn't have too many friends with him.
