@cottiac Thank you for both your comment and fav. they are both appreciated Cottia, not that much light in here so had to push the ISO up to 2,500 at f4 to get the detail:)
I like the way all the tools of the blacksmith's trade have been kept, and that it has been displayed in a messy state. Good capture of what must have been a difficult shot
@quietpurplehaze Thank you Hazel for you interesting comment my granddads shed was full of tools mostly for work on the farm and to repair farm equipment:)
@suesouthwood Thank you Sue for you lovely comments, BTW it seems very organised all the tool have a place, does not look messy to me, must be a man thing! :)
@onewing Thank you for your comments Babs, suspect all those horse shoes would be missing the working floor area was clear no clutter, I believe they have a Blacksmith display in here at summer weekends, will have to return to capture the action:)
Oh yeah, this too! Love that you zoomed out to include all of the many tools that the blacksmiths use in the forging process. A great tribute to the craftsmen who literally changed the world.
@stray_shooter Thank you Ron yes blacksmiths have been plying their trade from the iron age in 600 BC to the present day making all manner of tools, weapons and implements, I would have like to move a little further back to include more in the shot a but I had wall at my back:)
It looks a bit clinical and clean to how i remember the local Smithy to be but it is a good showcase for the trade.. you have captured a vast and surprising amount of detail, in spite of the wide aperture and the resultant Dof.. don't you just love the pretend fire.. :-)
@jorlam Thank you very much Jorlam your comments brought back memories of our local village blacksmith forge it was filthy dirty and the walls were as black as pitch, must say the artificial fire made me smile also:)
