The new 28 million pound Oastler building part of the university of Huddersfield now completed and in use by the students, I posted an image earlier this year as it neared completion see attached link. image taken yesterday evening was out to get a sunset turned out to be a non event much to grey. https://365project.org/pcoulson/365-3/2017-02-19

@dawnee Thank you for your lovely comment Dawn the flat panels down the building are not just ornamental they are Solar deflectors to reduce the heat from direct sunlight entering the building:)

@onewing Thank you Babs I was standing on a traffic island shooting across a dual carriageway with a set of traffic lights on the left, timing was everything to avoid the traffic I also went to take the shoot in the early evening for less traffic passing through the shot to, plus I wanted a nice sunset sky but didn't get that:)

Well done Peter.. i'm amazed that the road is empty of traffic - it's very rare to be this quiet..
Love the PoV (same one i use).. shame about the sky but still a fine image of this unusual building..

Btw, the building is the new home for Huddersfield’s Law School and the Schools of Music, Humanities and Media.
