Brookfoot Lock by pcoulson

Brookfoot Lock

Brookfoot Lock No19 on the Calderdale & Hebble Navigation Canal my attempt to add some age to the image as the lock has been around for 253 years.
Construction of the canal started in November 1759 and was completed in 1764
Lovely scene and processing

Looks beautiful in b&w. I may have mentioned before that one of my 'way back' relatives was a lock keeper. Is the building on the right the lock keepers cottage?
