Your rainy weather is our good fortune. I really like the lighting and the way you've captured the texture.

Beautiful macro Peter. You got some nice dof there. Have you replaced many of your old lenses? So far I only have a new 24-70mm and a 100mm macro is on it's way now. I still use all my old lenses with the adapter.

@stray_shooter Thanks Ron, it was all I could come up with at the time, lighting was via a white light desk lamp set looking up into the flower head:)

@bella_ss Thank you for your interesting comment Sheralee, I have retained all my Sony Alpha A lenses and as in this case used my 70mm macro lens on my Sony A77II camera, I have only 2 Sony FE lens for my Sony A7RII both new 24-70mm and 70-200mm plus I have the Sony adaptor from FE to Alpha A fit but never use it may have to consider getting a FE macro lens one day:)

@pcoulson I never use my A77 since getting the A7Rii. I did at first but the new camera handles noise so much better. I also bought an adaptor so I can use my old flash on the new one but also have a new flash to suit. The adaptor works well with the old lenses onto the new camera. It is good to have a back-up camera though since I do some portraiture for clients.

@bella_ss Very interesting Sheralle, I tend to use my A77ii just as much as my A7Rii both have the same flash hot shoe and have a new flash to suit, btw have also got and use my old A77 that I've had converted to infrared, so I've got all the gear but still no idea as they say, lol:)

@pcoulson That's interesting to have the old one converted to infrared, I had thought of that. Do you use it much? We always want new gear don't we! And does anyone have any idea... there's always something to learn.
