Female Chaffinch

A female Chaffinch helping herself to some food I put in a fallen tree branch.
Like the composition, the detail and good dof.

Great clarity. Her colorful tail feathers really stand out. She does seem to be enjoying the food you have so generously left for her.

As usual your focus and detail are excellent, Peter. And as a bonus I now know what a chaffinch looks like!

@henrir Thanks Henri I have an ulterior motive for leaving the seed, yes to help the birds in cold weather but also to get some images to share on my 365 project:)
