Stunning shot of the cathedral. It is quite an imposing building. A friend of ours used to live in a house quite close to the cathedral. In fact the layout of the house was identical to 10 Rillington Place, (of John Christie fame). Quite creepy in fact.

@gilbertwood Thank you for commenting Denise some added information for you, The building work commenced in 1072 20 years later it was consecrated, its length 143.3m/470 feet width 83m/272 feet Spire height 160m/520 feet, from outside or inside it looks enormous:)

@onewing Thank you for the interesting comment Babs, we of a certain age all know the exploits of John Reginald Halliday Christie, not quite as creepy my first job after leaving uni was in an architects design office on the corner of Minster Yard and Eastgate right next to the Cathedral, unfortunately not parking or windows:)
