Runner 6400

6400 my daughter competing in the City of Lincoln 10k race, (run for all) she was raising money for the British Alzheimer's Society the care and research charity for people with dementia, it was a very hot day for running, 27 degrees C yet she still managed to knock 3 minutes off her personal best time. This race was rescheduled due to heavy snow earlier in the year.
Alzheimer research is such a worthy cause! She looks like she really likes the running, good for her!

Well done to your daughter. The heat isn't too bad, but I suspect it is quite humid too. Humidity is the killer isn't it.

@henrir Thank you Henri all around the course were water drinks stations plus some of the people in the houses on the route had their water hoses cooling the runners as they passed by, its quite a fun event for all and lots of money gets raised for charities:)
