Stile

A stile is a structure which provides people a passage through or over a fence or boundary via steps, ladders, or narrow gaps this is one of many on the Brighouse Boundary Walk,
The walk originally created in 1993 to celebrate the centenary of the former Borough of Brighouse and re-launched in 2001, the Walk encircles the town, gaining access to the moors and crossing the Calder Valley. At Hartshead Moor it links with the Bronte, Calderdale and Kirklees Ways and the Spen Way Heritage Trail.

Lovely. They are so typically British. I don't think I have ever seen one here
