@henrir Thank you for your comment Henri, I try to include some old buildings and history for all you out in the new world, the Victorian bridge was opened in the same year as the first ever photographs of Yellowstone National Park region were taken by the photographer William Henry Jackson during Hayden Geological Survey of 1871:)
@quietpurplehaze Thank you for your lovely comment and Fav Hazel, I was right up against a traffic light on a road without a path trying to get the whole of the name on the Dean Clough Mill building it wasn't possible unless I stood in the busy road to the side:)
@novab Thank you for your lovely comment Nova, your right they are nothing like the MacDonald bridge, but at least they are not cursed neither do you have to pay to cross them, lol:)
@louannwarren Thank you Lou Ann the iron bridge has stood the test of time well and is still used today its the shortest route to the city centre approximately 1/2 mile from where I took the shot:)
@onewing Your absolutely right Babs all you can say for the two ugly concrete ones is they are functional and have reduced traffic flow though the centre of Halifax:)
