Oh my, he looks amazing. So that’s a gun he’s holding. That’s interesting.

@onewing Thank you Babs I was inspired by your Steampunk images to post one myself, this is two shots stitched together in Photoshop, the background shot was take at Papplewick Victorian Water Pumping Station six weeks ago, the Steampunker was a model at our camera club portrait meeting two weeks ago, hence I had position him to crop out his hand as it was resting on a chair:)

Oh Peter, very clever, now I know the story behind this picture I have to fav it for creativity. Well done. Love the pumping station background too.

The steampunk festivcal we were at was at the old waterworks in Goulburn. I did try to get some pictures, but there were lots of people milling around as you can imagine. Next time we are travelling down that way we will have to go again and hopefully not so many people there.

@louannwarren Thank you for your interesting comments Lou Ann, its not a real gun at all just for show, its illegal to own or carry any kind of weapon in the UK, we have the strictest gun laws in the world, yet gun related deaths in the UK are between 50 to 60 per year, carrying a knife in public is illegal also, yet last year we had 688 knife related deaths in the UK, very shocking statistics I know any one of these deaths effects so many people :)
