@lesip Thank you for your comment Leslie it was not as cold as you are suffering in the US, only about -3 degrees C, but still I didn't stay out long:)
@novab Thank you for your comment Nova I did give some thought on my positioning on the steps, I didn't want it to look like I had cut myself out and re-positioned me up the wall:)
@bella_ss Interestingly Sheralee I took one shot of the blank wall and three shots of me on the steps as it was freezing cold at the time, I used the bank wall shot and one of me on the steps, lined the brick work up in both shots then painted with black using a layer mask to reveal my body simple as that:)
@pcoulson I replaced one hand with the remote and one leg that was holding me on the step as well as the background to get rid of the step ladder. Only 4 pics in all but it took a long time to get them :)
@bella_ss Funnily enough Sheralee the remote was in my right hand and I just cloned it out not that well as you can see I have some funny shaped fingers, lol:)
@annied You can do it Annie! Just take the few extra shots and remember to leave your camera in the same position on the tripod to shoot the scene without the step ladder... I forgot to and so it was harder to line up properly. Sitting on a stool would be easier than what I did and much easier to remove the stool in post.
@annied as Sheralee @bella_ss said Annie its not that difficult I only used two shots one of the brick wall using my camera on a tripod then took the second shot standing on some small steps, merged the two images and painted with black to reveal me and not the steps, good luck just give it a go:)
