WOW Peter, what an awesome capture. You caught the moment perfectly and with such clarity. You must have lots of practice with these type movement images as your shutter speed is spot on. :)
@novab Thanks for both your lovely comment and fav Nova, I needed to up the shutter speed for this shot as I had very little time to react as the riders came into view:)
@onewing Thanks Babs its all about scrubbing off speed in the air, they turn the bike sideways to reduce their speed and straighten out just before touchdown they always manage get it right:)
@stray_shooter Thank you for your great comment Ron, yes great events to attend, I had my camera on manual shooting raw images and played around with the settings, I even managed to get it right sometimes, got back home last night and found I took around 700 shots it may take me some time to sort them out, lol:)
@pusspup Thank you so much for finding the time to comment Wylie, it was much dryer than last years event when it snowed, unfortunately I could not attend there due to poor driving conditions, my son made it and got some great shots:)
@taffy Thank you so much for your comment Taffy, I had very little time to react once they came in view hence a shutter speed of (1/1250 sec) for this one:)
@gamelee Thanks for your suggestion Lee, I had included the marshal and post to give a feeling that it was an event and not a couple of chaps playing on bikes on the course, I will have a look at editing the chap out and also the whole marshal post :)
@pcoulson By clone him out post, I mean post processing. I don't think anyone would mistake your image for "a couple of chaps playing on bikes". having looked at the image again My attention is definitely drawn the marshal. I'm trying to decide if he is Jeremy Clarkson.
