Light Bulb by pcoulson

Light Bulb

One of the sculptures on the Bradford Sulpture Trail.
Sculptor Andy Hazell’s Light Bulb took four months to construct completed in 1999, using welded steel, concrete, brass and glowing neon, its 10 foot high (3 metre) giant bulb with the base, partially buried in coloured tarmacadam taking the form of a star of light, lights surrounding the base and illuminate the structure at night.
What an amazing creation, great find and shot.

@louannwarren Thank you Lou Ann slightly different to your type of lightbulb, your connection is Edison screw and ours are baynet cap, back in the day Edison srew type was not considered safe for our 240 volts but ok for 110 volts and below:)
