Image taken yesterday in Lincoln
The Great Central Warehouse at Brayford Pool, Lincoln, built in 1907 owned by the Great Central Railway
Later used as a builder's warehouse before falling into disrepair in 1998. In 2004 the warehouse was renovated and converted into the Lincoln University library.
What a fabulous building. The coolest library ever!

Very cool that they were able to salvage this great old structure and make the library out of it. This also could have qualified for your ancient and modern theme with one structure alone!

I think it's a good/sympathetic renovation and sits well with the original building.
