Liversadge Half Marathon by pcoulson

Liversadge Half Marathon

I was on duty taking photographs at Sundays Liversadge Half Marathon of members of our running/jogging club,
the weather was appalling, high winds, rain and sleet greated the runner on the tough undulating course, after the event the wind really picked upand the heavy rain set in and continued thoughout the night.
What wonderful enthusiasm, Peter!

Nice action shots Peter. I'm guessing you had rain gear for your camera as well. Do you recommend any particular type?

@novab Thank you for your comment Nova, yes I do have a cheap and cheerful rain cover, there are lots on the internet mine was from Amazon, it's a Op/Tech Rainsleeve - Twin Pack made in the USA for just a few pounds:)

For such a crappy day, these runners appear to be quite happy! Must be your presence with the camera (and what a great way to get out of all of that hard work) ;-)
