@louannwarren Thank you Lou Ann normally I would not walk along the canal on a weekend as I end up with to many people in my shots, but I could not wait to get out and about again:)
@onewing Thank you Babs it was busy with walkers and cyclists, I don't now if it was down to it being the weekend or people getting back out after the COVID-19 restrictions:)
@pattyblue Thank you for your comment Pat, before the restrictions I tended to walk the canals a couple of days a week, I have a few to choose from around here:)
@stray_shooter Ha Ha thanks for that Ron, you try keeping me away now I just love the outdoors and fresh air all year around, I have really missed my photowalks over the last 13 weeks:)
@ludwigsdiana Thank you so much Diana yes its old,
Construction started on this part of the Calder and Hebble canal in 1759, and the initial scheme, which included 5.7 miles (9.2 km) of new cuts, was completed in 1770 and has remained navigable since it was opened, it links through other canals from Leeds to Manchester all the way to Liverpool:)
