Cria Llama

Watched this baby Llama being born this morning took about 25 minutes from the first sight of its legs to be the top image as it dropped to the ground then about the same before it could stand.
How amazing

Such precious moments. I witnessed a Springbuck birth last year and I suppose because they are in the wild, they are up within a few minutes.

@onewing Indeed Babs something I didn't expect to see when visiting the farm, I couldn't get a shot of it standing as mum and another Llama was shielding it between them:)

@kimmer50 Thank you Kim, I was most surprised to see it from start to finish, mum made no noise all the way through and was very calm another Llama was in close attendance all the time:)

@ludwigsdiana Thank you for your comment Diana, this took place in a barn on a farm, must have been wonderful to see births in the wild, the little thing took ages to stand both mum and another Llama giving encouragement, it would get up on all four legs then tumble over, but in the end it was stable and started taking little steps:)
