Our three grandchildren came over and we went for a walk together along with our daughter-in-law and picked wild blackberries and raspberries along the hedgerow

We used to go blackberry picking when we were kids too. I stopped when I bit into a blackberry and found a grub in the middle of it. Put me off for years, ha ha

@onewing Thank you your your interesting comment Babs, all fruit was checked but not washed before they could eat them, as a boy we just eat anything, I suspect bugs as well but it never put us off:)
