Just another day, another squirrel for you but I would love to have these in my backyard :) A possum would be our closest equivalent but they are nocturnal! Fav
He is gorgeous. We have a family of possums that visit each night. We have been leaving out apple etc for them during winter as there isn't much food for them in the colder months.
What a great capture Peter. As Denise said above, they are such a novelty for us Aussies. I used to love watching them at our daughters place in Ealing when we used to visit her - back in the good old days. :-(

@onewing Thank you for your interesting comment Babs, whilst staying on my uncles farm inland from Nowra NSW, at night we heard noises that sounded like a wild animal in the tree near our window, yes you guested it it was a possum:)
@terryliv Thank you for your comment and Fav Terry there are an estimated 2.7 million grey squirrels in the UK and the population is continuing to grow pushing the prettier native red squirrels out and up the country :)
