Crooked House by pcoulson

Crooked House

The Crooked House on Michaelgate Lincoln dating back to the 16th century, the house is now owned by the City of Lincoln Council and managed by the National Trust, becoming the oldest council houses in England. we took our grandson to Lincoln to visit the castle and cathedral, and see the original Lincoln Cathedral Magna Carta, the royal charter of rights agreed to and signed by King John of England at Runnymede, near Windsor, on 15 June 1215.
The Magna Carta still forms an important symbol of liberty today
A great shot of this fascinating house! I love all the brick in this image, too: the brick wall, the cobblestone road, the brick houses. Charming. Fav!

Brought back memories for me. I love Lincoln. RAF Scampton was our first posting after we married and we spent a lot of time in Lincoln exploring. I love this house and the cathedral peeping up in the background.
