Ruin

The ruins of Feniscowles Hall Lancashire on a very grey day.
This is amazing in black and white.

This shot looks brilliant in b&w, really brings out the textures. Fully air conditioned too.

@onewing Thanks Babs for your lovely comments, came across this by chance its way off the beaten track, was just walking along a bridle path and there it was, may have been on private land so did quick photo and legged it;)

@peterlgrave Thanks Peter, its not at all maintained, no signs to say its there, had quite a trawl through the internet to get some info.
Built and owned by Sir William Feilden a Baronet in 1808 passed on through his sons until 1911 when it was abandon and then fell into disrepair, the surrounding area very much overgrown, original road now a less used bridleway;)

An amazing B&W shot, the tones really bring out the old feel to this building!

@lilminimonka Thanks Brianna, it was such a grey sky cropped most out and reduced the saturation to B&W tones, this really helped the image;)

@terryliv Thank you Terry for your comments and Fav, it looks far better in B&W than colour due to the grey sky;)
