It's a dog's life in Havana

I’ve never seen so many stray dogs on streets and alleyways. By some estimates there are over a million dogs in Cuba, of which half may be strays. Yet on the bright side, even the stray dogs live the socialist life and are issued with identification cards and provided with state sponsored accommodation and health care. Cubans hold animals in high esteem, often saving up precious scraps for stray cats and dogs - which is nice!
That poor dog gives this shot an eerie look. Nice capture.

Maybe entitled to health care and shelter but the two pups here don't quite look as if they've accessed it...
The image is so well balanced. You have such a good eye. I wonder how long you waited by these murals for this shot?

Poor dogs...But stray dogs can be dengerous, they must be in shelters.
