The Gooderham Building, also known as the Flatiron Building, is an historic office building in Toronto reminiscent of French Gothic architecture. The Gooderham building is definitely one of those structures which gives character to the city both in its shape and history. Great place to photograph (even in a winter storm :)

Lovely image. It’s really interesting to see the old red brick flat iron in front of those skyscrapers, especially the very modern looking one on the left. A history of urban development.
Great capture. I looked at my fall picture I posted on Jan 17th, and that is close to where we were in the summer of 2008. Only then the building had lots of scaffolding around it. Pretty spot in Toronto whatever the season.
Love this! I love the old Gooderham (I'll have to look for that building the next time I'm in Toronto) with all the more modern tall buildings in the background. The weather just adds something special to this photo. Fav!
What a great skyline Toronto has. Is the Derek Besant trompe l’oeil effect mural still at the back of the flatiron building (thanks google!). I like your editing style, too.
