This is Bexley Station, on the Southeastern line out of London. It is largely unaltered from when it was built in 1866 (aside from the inevitable doors, street furniture and vending machine!). I have tried to "half and half" it by giving the left hand side a more sepia feel to try and recreate the feeling of the late 19th century. Not sure it's worked, though!!
@sarahlth Thanks, Sarah. @shellee Thank you, Shellie @paintdipper@kwind Thanks, both. It's not quite how I imagined it in my mind when I was planning this, but maybe it's enough to make the point!
At first I thought you put on an ND filter from sideway. It sure looks something different. Wish there were more old fixtures in the sepia part. That would have been amazing. I liked the concept.
@quasi_virtuoso Thanks, Rachel. @shuttertux Yes - I did try placing the sepia section on the right hand side to get more of the older architecture, but then there wasn't enough left on the left hand side to make the contrast effective. Anyway - it's all a learning exercise!!
